Haven't updated in forever. So here's an update.. A recipe. This is the recipe I use for the cornbread I make..
I got it from here but the recipe appears to now be gone. It's quite yummy.

# 1 cup flour
# 1 cup yellow cornmeal
# 1/4 cup sugar
# 1 tsp baking powder
# 1 cup milk or heavy whipping cream
# 1/4 cup vegtable oil
# 1/4 cup honey
# 2 eggs slightly beaten

Heat oven to 400°

In a medium bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Flour, cornmeal, sugar & baking powder.

Stir in remaining ingredients and stir until just moistened. A trick to get the honey out of the measuring cup, measure the oil first then the honey.

Pour into greased 9x9 square baking pan.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Quite simple, but very good. I usually bake it for the full 25 minutes.
